How can we connect the painting of Jack Bush and Colleen Heslin? Join curator Naomi Potter for an exploration of colour, material, and the painterly affinities that connect these two artists’ works. Above all, we will consider the legacy that Jack Bush has had on Canadian painting, examining, on one hand, Colleen Heslin’s work as an outcome of this tradition, and on the other, Heslin’s position as an artist who pushes and frays the boundaries and history of painting.
