Discover Honey Bees and Their Fascinating Role in Our World
Did you know that the Atlantic Avenue Art Block has two beehives on our roof? Join Alvéole beekeeper Vanessa Moll to learn all about honeybees and their fascinating role in our world and ecosystems.
Bees are behind a third of all the food we eat, including fruits, vegetables, chocolate, nuts, and coffee. Learn more about urban beekeeping and the microcosm that is the hive. In this immersive workshop we’ll follow a bee’s life’s journey from when she first emerges from her cell to her final flight. There will be a Q&A at the end of the workshop to answer any questions you might have about the awe-inspiring world of honey bees.
This workshop will happen on Zoom.
Time zone: Mountain Standard Time (MST).
Details will be emailed on registration.
