Join curator Christine Conley for a tour of Terms of Engagement. Conley will share some of the research that inspired the exhibition and provide an introduction to the work of the three artists.
nichola feldman-kiss will discuss her impressions of the Canadian Forces Artists Program and artistic response to her experience with Canada’s National Defence Peace Support Training Centre and the United Nations Mission in Sudan. She will introduce within the state of exception and until the story of the hunt is told by the lion / facing horror and the possibility of shame, with a recital of the redacted UN military observer report describing the sub-Saharan conflict that compelled her creation of these two artworks.
