Join Cynthia Klaassen (President, Calgary Heritage Initiative Society) for a guided walking tour that will take participants to some of Calgary’s premier and lesser-known mid-century modern architecture sites. The tour will start at the eclectic 1948 Barron Building – currently on the National Trust’s endangered list – and end at the Centennial Planetarium. We will also visit Century Gardens, a rare Brutalist style park beloved by parkour enthusiasts. Come along for a look at mid-century Calgary, from curtain-wall to concrete!
