As we maneuver together through the subtexts of violence in Mary Anne Barkhouse’s seductive, tableau-like Le rêve aux loups into Postcommodity’s disorienting and uncomfortable A Very Long Line, we will consider the disruption of borders (physical, psychological, political, and social) and the deconstruction of binary, colonial thinking as strategies of adaptability, resistance, and resilience.
