Family Workshop | From Home to Hinterland with Plein Air Outdoor Arts

Esker Foundation is excited to invite Tom Brown and Nikki Martens from Plein Air Outdoor Arts back to host an imaginative series of workshops for children and families this fall.

Drawing inspiration from Esker’s current exhibiting artists, Plein Air will create and share two online family (or friend) creative challenges encouraging participants to disrupt their domestic routines and partake in a little absurdity, hilarity and joyful creative expression throughout the month of October. A third in-person challenge and celebration will take place on 24 October. Get ready to perform a balancing act, make a masterpiece of unlikely objects, and pull up to our outdoor picnic-style show of shenanigans!

Online group challenge instructions will be shared on Esker’s social media channels and e-newsletter on Thursday 8 October, and Thursday 15 October. These challenges will be open to all. Participants are encouraged to tag @eskerfoundation in their photo and video responses to each challenge which will be included in our month end celebration on 24 October.

An in-person, outdoor celebration will be held 24 October, 2-4pm at: The Rise, St.Patrick’s Island
Registration essential for the 24 October experience, max. 45 participants. Please book tickets for each person in your group.
