Reconciliation Through Writing
Shyam Selvadurai
Shyam Selvadurai will talk about Write to Reconcile, a project which uniquely combines creative writing and reconciliation in post-war Sri Lanka. He will discuss the challenges and joys of running such a program in a country in the middle of an uneasy peace. Shyam Selvadurai is a 2014-15 Distinguished Visiting Writer for the Calgary Distinguished Writers Program at the University of Calgary. His residency runs November 24-December 1, 2014.
