In this talk, Toronto-based interdisciplinary artist Jon Sasaki will discuss the four video works in his exhibition Killing One Bird with Half a Stone and the themes they share with other recent projects. Motifs such as anxiety, solitude, resourcefulness, flexibility, and creative problem solving have long underscored his art practice, and perhaps take on a heightened immediacy in the age of COVID-19.
